My First Piano Adventure: Lesson Book C with Play-Along & Listening Audio Details
(Faber Piano Adventures ). Book C of the Fabers' young beginner method continues the staff-reading adventure with the introduction of skips (3rds). Students first explore skips aurally and kinesthetically across the full range of the keyboard. A delightful variety of songs follow which carefully and comfortably guide the child toward line-line and space-space staff recognition. The audio for Book C offers a unique listening experience with outstanding orchestrations and vocals. The recordings demonstrate a key principle of the course: when children listen, sing, tap, and move to their piano music, they play more musically. Audio is accessed online using the unique code inside the book and can be streamed or downloaded. The audio files include PLAYBACK+, a multi-functional audio player that allows you to slow down audio without changing pitch, set loop points, change keys, and pan left or right.

Reviews
When my daughter began to take piano lessons, her teacher recommended this series because it was a great introduction to piano for kids who cannot yet read. She began with Book A and has worked her way up to Book C. Each book has two components (sold separately), a Lesson Book and a Writing Book. The Lesson Book has different songs that the student learns to play through practice. It comes with a CD that has the songs on them and the student can play along with the CD. The CD also has some songs that the student does not play along with, but helps to introduce new music ideas. Overall, we've really enjoyed this series and my daughter has learned a lot.
