Reviews
This book introduced me to theory that I never even heard of. Since I am teaching myself, this books is an excellent guide. It breaks up each lesson into small increments gradually building up from major chords to minor chords. It even provides a mini-assessment before moving forward to the next task. It advices you to create an improvisation after learning the chords and even instructs the manner on how to play the improvisation (for example, "think of canoeing in the moonlight" lol 😜 #sets the mood#). So, overall I absolutely love the book, I am gaining a lot of knowledge and do highly recommend this book to anyone needing to learn music theory.
